Ingredients
Solution A
2 cup white school type glue (Elmer’s, Manco)
1 1/2 cup warm water
food coloring

Solution B
1 1/2 cup warm water
4 tsp. borax laundry additive
Instructions
Solution A:
1. Mix well.

2. Tint the mixture to desired shade using food coloring

Solution B:
1. Dissolve the borax in water. It Won’t completely dissolve, but breaking up any small lumps of borax seems to help.

Gak Synthesis:
1. Pour Solution A into Solution B. Do not mix.

2. Carefully scoop out the Gak from the reaction solution and gently knead it. There will be pockets of colored reaction solution that have a tendency to “spurt” out at the most inopportune moment!!!

3. Knead until the Gak no longer feels slippery.

4. Enjoy - This stuff is fun to make.

NOTE: For colors that are more intense, you might consider using paste-type colorings which can be found in cake decorating sections at cooking type stores.
