  Serves: makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
8 pork chops
1 Tbsp. oil
salt
pepper
1/ cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp. fat or drippings
1 cup rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup diced, peeled apples
1 cup diced orange sections
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
Instructions
1. Brown pork chops and oil together.

2. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

3. Remove chops from pan and cook onions in drippings or fat.

4. Put onion and pork chops in lightly greased 3 quart casserole dish.

5. Add rice, water, apples, oranges, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.

6 Cover and bake at 350 deg for about 45 minutes.
