Ingredients
1 cup molasses
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in 2 quart saucepan.

2. Cook, over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.

3. Boil until a small amount of syrup dropped in cold water forms a hard ball, about 265 deg on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat.

4. Pour onto greased platter. Fold in as edges cool.

5. When mixture is cool enough to handle, pull until light in color.

6. Roll into a long rope, 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1 inch pieces.

7. Wrap pieces in individual pieces of wax paper or plastic wrap.
