Ingredients
makes 18 rolls

1 cup Warm Water
1 pkg. Yeast
1/4 Sugar
4 cups Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 cup Shortening
1 Egg
1/3 cup Dry Milk Powder
Instructions
1. Place water, yeast and sugar in large mixing bowl and let stand 5 to 10 minutes, until thoroughly dissolved.

2. Meanwhile, sift flour. Set aside.

3. Stir up yeast brew. Add salt, shortening and egg.

4. Add 2 cups flour and milk powder and beat smooth.

5. Add enough remaining flour to form  a stiff dough. Beat well.

6. Place in clean, greased bowl.  Brush top of dough with oil. Cover with a damp towel let rise in warm place (80 deg to 85 deg) until double in bulk.

7. Turn onto floured board knead until smooth and elastic add flour if needed.

8. Cut into 18 equal pieces form each into a ball. Place on greased pan and cover with towel let raise in warm place until double in bulk.

9. Bake at 425 deg for 15 minutes or until done.
