  Serves: makes 2 dozen
Ingredients
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
3 eggs
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
1. Melt 1 cup chips and butter in large, heavy saucepan over low heat stir until smooth.  Remove from heat.

2. Add eggs stir well.

3. Add flour, sugar, baking soda and vanilla stir well.

4. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and nuts.

5. Spread into greased 13x9 inch baking pan.

6. Bake in preheated 350 deg oven for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out still slightly sticky.

7. Cool completely.  Cut into 2 inch squares.
