Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar

1/2 tsp. salt (omit if butter or margarine used)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter, margarine, or shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
1. Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt together into medium bowl.

2. Place sugar in large bowl. Add melted butter and blend well.

3. Break eggs into small bowl and beat well with beater. Stir into butter mixture, along with vanilla.
