  Cream of Chicken/Turkey Rice - Mom's

  Serves: makes 6 cups
Ingredients
2 cups raw long-grain white rice
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
4 cups cold water
3 cups cream of chicken/ turkey soup
2 cups diced cooked chicken/turkey
Instructions
1. In heavy, medium-sized saucepan with tight-fitting cover, combine water with rice, salt and butter.

2. Bring to boiling, uncovered.

3. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, 15 to 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.

4. Fluff up with fork. Add cream of chicken soup and diced chicken.
