Ingredients
1 cup lentils, rinsed
3/4 cup white long grain rice
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 3/4 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Instructions
1. Saute the onion, garlic, rice and lentils in the margarine until the onion is tender (about 3 to 4 minutes).

2. Add the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat cover, simmer 30 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.
