Ingredients
Crust and Streusel:
2 cups raw oatmeal
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup butter, melted

Filling:
3 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples (about 3 medium)
2 Tbsp. flour
1  12 oz. jar (1 cup) raspberry or apricot preserves
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 375 deg.

2. For crust and streusel, combine oats, flour, sugar and baking powder. Mix well.

3. Add butter, mixing until moistened.

4. Reserve 2 cups. Set aside.

5. Press remaining oat mixture onto bottom of 13x9 inch baking pan.

6. Bake 15 minutes.

7. For filling, combine apples and flour.

8. Stir in preserves.

9. Spread onto crust to within 1/2 inch of edge.

10. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture, pressing lightly.

11. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown.

12. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
