  Serves: makes 15 pieces fry bread
Ingredients
8-10 cups flour
13/ cup baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt
4 cups lukewarm water
cooking oil
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2. Add water gradually, while working the mixture into dough. Knead until it is bread dough consistency add additional flour if sticky.

3. Oil should be 1/2 to9 1 inch deep in frying pan. Let oil heat at High for 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Roll out dough on a floured counter into 8 inch diameter circles, with a 1/4 inch thickness.

5. Put hole in the rolled dough prior to putting into frying pan. Do not throw dough into hot oil, let it glide in slowly. Fry till golden brown, then flip over and cook other side.

6. Put on plate.
