  Chicken/Turkey Broccoli Braid

Ingredients
1 pkg. crescent rolls
1 cup cooked chicken or turkey chopped
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1/4 cup chopped mushroom
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. slivered almonds (optional)
1/2 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 can milk
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 375 deg.

2. Roll out crescent roll dough on greased cookie sheet. Slash 2 edges.

3. Chop and combine chicken or turkey, broccoli, mushroom, cheese, garlic, parsley, salt and almonds if used in bowl.

4. Spread chicken/turkey mixture down middle of bread, then bring up opposing strips and twist one turn. Tuck ends up to form a rim at each end of bread.

5. Bake 25 to 28 minutes.

6. Make sauce by mixing cream of chicken soup with milk in small saucepan and heat.

7. Serve sauce over braid or on the side as dip.

NOTE: May substitute cream of turkey or cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken.
