Ingredients
whole chicken, cut up
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
4 eggs, well beaten
Instructions
1. Cut chicken into desired pieces, or buy already cut up.

2. Put flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper and onion powder in a lunch bag, or large plastic bag and set aside.

3. Put eggs in medium bowl and beat well. Set aside.

4. Dip chicken pieces into eggs and place into bag of flour mixture. Shake until chicken is completely coated.

5. Melt shortening in large frying pan. Put coated pieces of chicken in frying pan.

6. Cook chicken over medium heat until done. About 20 minutes. Remove chicken from pan.

7. Drippings left in pan can be used to make gravy.

8. Serve with mashed potatoes, vegetable, etc.
