  Rhubarb Crisp - Grandma Stults

  Serves: makes 6 servings
Ingredients
4 cups cut-up fresh rhubarb
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 to 2 cups sugar (depending on tartness of rhubarb)
3/4 cup all-purpose flour*
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup butter or margarine
Light cream or sweetened whipped cream
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350 deg.

2. Place rhubarb in ungreased  baking dish, 10x6x11/2 inches. Sprinkle with salt.

3. Measure sugar, flour and cinnamon into bowl.

4. Add butter and mix thoroughly until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over rhubarb.

5. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

6. Serve warm with light cream.

*If using self-rising flour, omit salt.
