Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice or whole wheat
4 cups sliced apples
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind

Toffee Mixture:
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
Instructions
1. Mix rice or whole wheat, apples, brown sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind together.

2. turn into a buttered 9x9 inch baking dish.

3. Add water.

4. Make toffee mixture by putting flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl and mix.

5. Cut butter into mixture until the size of small peas.

6. Cover apples and rice completely with toffee mixture. Bake at 350 deg for 45 minutes.

7. Serve with milk or cream.
