Ingredients
8 tsp. 5 Tbsp. 1 tsp. 1/2 cup sugar
1 2 3 tsp. flour
1/16 1/8 1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 1 1/3 2 cups milk
1 2 3 egg yolks
1/3 2/3 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
1. Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a saucepan. 2. Stir in milk. 3. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until mixture starts to boil. 4. Cook, uncovered, 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. 5. Beat egg yolks. Stir a little of the hot mixture into yolks. Then stir yolks into rest of mixture in saucepan. 6. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 7. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
