Ingredients
We use this “Cheese Sauce” all the time for broccoli, cauliflower, or cheese spaghetti.

(This basic sauce can become Cheese Sauce by adding Grated Cheese)

Makes 1 cup

2 Tbl. Margarine
1Tbl. Cornstarch
½ tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper
1 cup Milk
Instructions
1. Melt margarine in saucepan. Blend in cornstarch, salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

2. Gradually add milk, mixing until smooth.

3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens or comes to a boil and boil 1 minute.

(Can be thickened or thinned with addition or using less milk.)
You use this for creaming vegetables and such things.
