  Serves: makes 2 1/2 cups
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/8 tsp. salt
1 lb. (about 4 1/2 cups) unsifted powdered sugar
2 egg yolks, unbeaten*
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. (about) milk

*Or use 1 whole egg
Instructions
1. Cream butter until soft.

2. Add salt and part of powdered sugar gradually, blending after each addition.

3. Then add egg yolks and vanilla; blend well.

4. Add remaining sugar alternately with milk, beating after each addition until smooth, until of right consistency to spread.
