  Serves: makes 3 cups
Ingredients
3 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Combine egg yolks, sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla.

2. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, 12 to 15 minutes.

3. Add coconut and pecans. Beat until thick enough to spread.
