  Serves: makes 2 1/2 to 5 cups
Ingredients
1 2 cups sugar
1 2 cups evaporated milk
3 6 egg yolks
1/2 1 cup butter
1 2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
1 2 cups pecans
Instructions
1. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in 2 quart saucepan. 2. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. 3. Add coconut and pecans. 4. Beat until thick enough to spread.
