Ingredients
3-4 cups potatoes (about 6 medium)
1/2 small onion, minced (1 Tbsp. flaked)
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. dried parsley, crushed
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, minced (2 Tbsp. flaked)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350 deg.

2. Peel and cut potatoes, cover with water and add ½ small onion, garlic and parsley. Put them on to boil.

3. Meanwhile brown ground beef and onion in frying pan. Season with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley.

4. Drain and rinse ground beef and place in bottom of 11x6 inch pan or baking dish.

5. Mash potatoes with butter and milk. Spread over ground beef.

6. Top with grated cheese.

7. Heat in oven until cheese is melted (about 10 minutes).

NOTE: May add green beans, corn, etc. to meat after meat has been browned.  May also add tomato sauce or whole canned tomatoes crushed to meat along with vegetable.
