  Serves: makes ~10 to15 servings
Ingredients
16 oz. lentils
6 cups water
1 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. flaked onion (1 small minced)
2 strips bacon or 2 slices ham, diced (optional)
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (2 cups) tomato sauce
salt
pepper
garlic powder
tortillas
1 lb. mild cheddar cheese, grated
lettuce, shredded
chopped tomatoes
minced onion
sliced olives
chopped avocado or guacamole
sour cream
Instructions
1. Put lentils in 6 cups water. (Soak overnight for stove top cooking.)

2. Put salt, onion and bacon in pan with lentils.

3. Cook 20 minutes in pressure cooker on 15 lb., or for 4 hours on top of stove.

4. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet.

5. Drain and rinse fat from meat.

6. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

7. Combine lentils and meat in serving dish.

8. Heat tortillas.

9.  Serve all other ingredients separately.
