Ingredients
1 lb round steak, cubed
salt
pepper
garlic powder
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 medium onion, minced (2 Tbsp. dried minced)
1 stalk celery, sliced thin
4-5 potatoes, diced
5-6 carrots, sliced
approximately 2-3 cups water
1 tsp. beef bouillon
1 sprig fresh, minced (1/2 tsp. dried)
1/2 recipe dumplings (optional)
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic.

2. In large pan brown steak in butter.

3. Add onion and celery and saute until transparent.

4. Add potatoes and carrots to meat and cover with water.

5. Add beef boullion and parsley and stir in well.

6. Simmer until vegetables are tender.

7. If desired, when done dot with dumplings and simmer for 8-10 minutes, or until dumplings are fluffly and dry.
