Ingredients
(Prepared, by Cassandra, for her Wedding Shower.)

Makes 8-10 servings

3/4 cups Granulated Sugar
6 Tbl. Butter or Margarine
1 Tbl. Water
1 ½ cup (9 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
2 Eggs
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
2/3 cup All-Purpose Flour (pre-sifted if at sea level)
Filling (recipe follows)
2 cups sliced Strawberries (may substitute a different type of berry)

For Filling:
½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
Instructions
1. Combine sugar, butter and water in small, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly remove from heat.

2. Add ½ the chocolate morsels stir until well blended.

3. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.

4. Add flour, baking soda and salt stir until well blended.

5. Stir in remaining morsels. Pour into waxed paper-lined and greased 9 inch round cake pan.

6. Bake in preheated 350 deg oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.

7. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes.

8. Invert onto wire rack remove waxed paper. Turn right side up cool completely.

9. Spread filling over brownie, top with berries, chill until serving time.

For Filling:
1. Beat cream and sugar in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.
