Ingredients
This recipe came out of a Kearns newspaper and is Bob’s favorite cookie.

Makes 1 ½ dozen

½ cup Crisco Shortening (other brands just don’t seem to get the same results)
3/4 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/4 cup Flour
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
½ tsp. Baking soda
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 Tbl. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Instructions
1. Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

2. Mix shortening, sugar and egg.

3. Mix in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

4. Roll dough into small balls. Roll balls in cinnamon mixture. Put on greased cookie sheet.

5. Bake at 350 deg for 8 to 10 minutes.
