Ingredients
Makes 1 pie

2 cups Apple Slices
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Sugar
1 ½ Tbl. Tapioca or Cornstarch, or 2 Tbl. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
2 Tbl. Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Water (if fresh apples used)
2 Tbl. Butter
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 425 deg.

2. Combine all ingredients, except butter, in large bowl.

3. Turn apple mixture into pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter.

4. Cover with top crust and cut slits to ventilate. Seal and flute edges.

5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
