Ingredients
2/3 cup Sugar
½ cup Butter or Margarine
1 tsp. Light Corn Syrup
½ cup Slivered Almonds
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in heavy saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with wooden spoon.

3. Continue cooking until golden brown (about 5 to 7 minutes).  Be careful not to scorch.

4. Pour into pie tin lined with foil.

5. Let cool.

6. Break into pieces with the back end of a knife.
